PREZI: A WHOLE NEW LEVEL

WHY USE PREZi?


          Prezi is a software where you can create presentations online anytime and anywhere! It has an interesting interface that allows users to zoom in and out of their presentations and incorporates amazing 3D transitions that can enhance their presentations to a whole new level. There are palette tools that teachers and students can use to make and improve creativity to their presentations for classroom discussions, reports and school projects to be more attractive to their audience such as rotating and adding depths to texts and importing other powerpoints.



          Prezi, with its up-to-date features, offers convenience to users especially to teachers and students. They can create and save their works online for free via public access and retrieve their works on other devices in order for them to view or continue editing their presentations. Prezi also supports common file types that a user may import. There are several presentations in the Prezi library that a user may reuse and customize. Prezi also has free templates for users to choose. In addition, collaborative working is now possible with Prezi despite the distance between specific users. We may also present our work publicly at ease by simply sharing the embed link of our presentation and save our work offline and in the cloud application.

         However, there are some counterparts coped with this software. Since Prezi is web-based, internet access and its speed play significant roles here. Unfortunately, Prezi is not printer-friendly that allows us to have hard copies of our work. It also has limited functions to users with public accounts. In order to attain their state-of-the-art tools, we have to subscribe to their premium accounts that are costly. In fact, Prezi may also cause nausea to viewers who won’t read the presentation right.

          Despite of the cons mentioned, I actually find Prezi a lot more fun than the usual application that the majority uses to create powerpoints. Prezi is one of the best-recommended web tools essential for educational use.

    Love your product, "History of Marianas" it was a good chosen topic to discuss for presentation.
    Like you got 3rd eye, even though you are on leave you seems to know what topic do our 4th graders having (TIMELINE)...

          PowToon is another web-based tool to enhance presentations. The plus factor about Powtoon among the other web tools is that users are able to add animations into their presentations. Powtoon is indeed an eye-catcher for a variety of audience. Well-known businesses such as Starbucks, Coca-Cola, Cisco, eBay and a lot more around the globe use this for marketing strategies.
