 WHAT IS A

A blog is a short-term word for "web log" which is an online journal owned by an individual. It's usually a record of personal thoughts and experiences that you put in the internet for other people to read.

The purpose of a blog is to post an individual's view online through a conversational style by updated journal entries, comments from the viewers and cited hyperlinks. A blog usually reflects the personality of the author. It hereby offers information either factual or opinionated and promotions.

As a classroom teacher, I am able to open up certain issues and share wonderful ideas that can be fruitful for my audience such as my students, colleagues, students' parents, and other educators. This also persuades my audience to share their opinions through blog comments and may inspire them to create their own blog in the future. I can also use this platform to gain advice from fellow bloggers to enhance more strategic schemes that I can apply in my position.

Having a blog gives us the privilege of ownership and the chance to publish personal thoughts at ease and free of charge. The author is able to gain audience that can interact with beneficial ideas. However, there are a certainty of readers that can misjudge the author's blog by commenting inappropriate and fraud language. The author may also be biased and cite inaccuracy to its information.
